Well said. I got big into music because as an angsty teen I needed something that made me """different""" so I went down the metal lane and ended up listening to black metal mostly. The older I get the less appeal there is in anything metal to me. There are a handful of bands left that I enjoy but I do because they are mostly experimental or blend it with sth else.
