Best Folk album you never see posted to this board? Can be classic or neo-folk. Don't really care.

Sibylle Baier - Colour Green, though I found it through Yea Forums.

love this one.
My personal GOAT
Yes, this is great.
Pretty basic but I love 'em.
This is really good, thanks for posting.
ranks somewhere around #500 on RYM but roy Harper is almost never discussed, even by Pink floyd and zepeplin fans
Pedo has been cancelled
Good album though, hors d'oeuvres was one of the first songs I learned to finger pick on
One of the better ones. There's too many great folk albums to have a definitive favorite and mu doesn't really talk about folk much aside from the occassional "tHe sUnS nOt yElLOow iTs cHicCkeN" thread
Another great one. Woody's kid sure had his moments. Its ashame he had to follow in the steps of such a towering figure; otherwise, I'd wager he'd be more well-know outside of a few hits
That album is excellent.
This is pretty ok even if the dude sounds like a contestant off the voice
This one's great
Lol, mistook that album for this for a sec
Let it go is one of my guilty pleasures. Never thought to listen to the rest.
Is worth a go. This is my favorite cut off the album
youtu.be
Nooo haha, they are very different. Both are cool though
Furthering the animal cover theme, this is great and its fronted by the same guy who sang for archers of loaf.
This is a great archrival collection
These are good but get posted quite a bit.
Really? you never see this posted here? This is like one of the most well-respected cult records of all time
I post this one occassionally. Its superb. However, its rather elusive as only like 2 or 3 of the songs off of here are on youtube and it isn't available for streaming. Heck, I couldn't even find its tracklisting. This song isn't on the album, but its similar to the stuff on here and is by the same guy

This song is on the album
youtu.be
Ok so apparently within the past month someone started posting songs off this on youtube
This one's a favorite of mine
youtu.be
This album is really good, sorta bluesy female 60's folk but has a sort of a dark psych vibe to it

Brown bird is good.
I’m not around here enough to know if it’s posted often.
Never seen anyone mention Michael Shelley, always loved this album:

Great Album. Now you've gotta listen to Inside-Out my dude.
Bill Fay is the man. His 2012 album is surprisingly fantastic too
Holy Shit this thread is getting good! Bobbie Gentry is one of the GOAT songwriters. I own this and The Delta Sweete on Vinyl. She has such an amazing smokey voice, and damn she was hot as hell too. Sometimes i just look at old pictures of her.
Karen Dalton never gets talked about here. She's hillbilly Joanna Newsom (and I mean that in the best way possible.)
Love this dude. What an incredible album with fantastic guitar, please if you can just listen to The Little Pot Stove.
fucking incredible album, no idea how my dad found out about this guy but when i was 15 this album was on constant rotation in my home
great too
literally listening to this as we speak, what a coincidence
Highly underrated. Probably the best albuim to come out of the entire Greenwich folk revival scene.
