Yeah I guess it maybe doesn't sound as good to others that are listening to it with fresh ears. Perhaps my expectations were a bit high after autistically listening to it myself literally the whole day.
I wasn't really thinking about chords, just slapped together a couple of riffs that I thought flowed nicely into each other. Don't have any ideas about what to do about the structure ( I mean, I know I could add some quieter sections, but I'm not getting a feeling for what and where to put it), but I definitely see the thing about changing the instrumentation up a bit more. Guess I fell into the "I made a cool sound and I'm gonna use it goddammit" trap. Will probably use that to make it a bit more dynamic too.
Although to some degree the "100% all the time" was intentional, since it kinda fits with what I was going for, I might have overdone it a little. It's not called Relentless for nothing, lel.
When you say a reoccurring musical idea to ground it, are you thinking more of something like a chorus or more in the vein of a motif played over what's already there?
Sounds like there's some room left in the frequency spectrum for another layer of instrumentation so I'll play with that a bit.

No, it has to do with sampling stuff of mines that was recently rendered. Anything midi related / mixing related is fine. My computer goes slow when FL is up for a bit.

Try this:
When you run the installer, instead of double-clicking on it, right click once, and then click on "Run as administrator" (then give the ok if a pop up pops up).

ive done that a few times and it doesn't work. I wonder if it could be because im trying to install all the extra components and not just the minimum, but i don't want to try the minimum cause i want the extra stuff like demo songs and vsts

If the synth only has MIDI in, won't that mean that it uses the DAWs clock insted of the synth's?
