when will he be fired for his under-performance.
shouldnt the band say for example, well you sang for 50% less, and you provided no kino hooks like prior albums, please accept 50% less of your take.

You don’t think it will sell like any of the others?
I don’t either, I’m just clarifying
Plus he is a terrible frontman. He has bad stage presence and dances like a dork in such cringy tryhard outfits that they hide him in the back for live shows.
Actually OP has a point. In most bands the singer is the face of the band and irreplaceable, but is the a more replaceable member of tool than Maynard?
Maynard looks like a bit of a twat. I don't imagine I'd buy him a pint at the local.
The entire band needs to be fired.
Finally a Tool release without trying to be edgy. This is unironically Gaynerd's best performance. Sometimes less is more you shit-eared twat
blessed thread
mate I think you forgot to comb your hair this morning
This thread got me thinking about who could sing all his old stuff well and also write/sing better new material if he was replaced and it hit me...
he looks like a faggy john lydon
He’d def make more weird noises
This. They should fire everyone and only rehire the first bassist paul d’amour
i would never listen to tool again if this corny ass nigga ever touched them.
MYYY ALLEGORICAALLL ELERGYYY
Dubs confirms replacement
Sorry Mike, not happening
Good luck with the job search
Poor man’s version of jmk?
Go apologize to Mr. Bungle and make a fourth album, fool
fire the band too, they suck
Fear Inoculum didn't sell because Tool made 10,578 copies
Tool is nothing without Maynard
The next album will be an instrumental
expected release date June 1, 2038
The guy has two other bands and owns a vineyard or two, im sure he wouldnt even care.
Fret for your bank account....
This.
Learn to swim, OP.
Serj hasn't really pushed his talents in songwriting or vocals since SOAD's self titled and that makes me sad since he could do MUCH better music if he pushed himself and still wanted to do heavy and soft shit.
Thats what both Justin and Danny have said seperately in podcasts. Theyre flattered he put less vocals on the instrumentals they worked so hard on.
Now how much of those excessive passages I always agree with I'm not sure, but I get the sentiment.
Jesus Christ
>is the a more replaceable member of tool than Maynard
Nobody would care about the band without the Maynard cult hyping them up. I don't like Maynard but Adam Jones is objectively the worst member
>and you provided no kino hooks
There were hooks,-- they just aren't repeated or developed in the handful that exist.
>Finally a Tool release without trying to be edgy
This is the APC [Eat-the-Elephant cringe] Tool vocal performance and lyrics in the catalogue; get Maynard's dick on testosterone replacement before recording another album. This needed to break the door down in "OPEN UP FBI!" fashion. No one's hair got blow back by FI.
>MYYY ALLEGORICAALLL ELERGYYY
In the first release that does not contain a spokenword track, this expositional dialogue cringe will have to suffice.
Is there a r/freefolk equivalent there to mock these hyletics in their own backyard? lmao
>but Adam Jones is objectively the worst member
He was (was) the David Gimour of Metal after Lateralus, and might've made some people's prog/heavy rock rthym guitarist shortlist for dream supergroup -- 7empest has the most (and most egregious) tendentious, over-cooked, prolix playing of the entire album, "Lower the hammer-on triplets and step away from the djents, sir; and put your hands on your head". Still, he's less the-weakest-link than MJK;-- he wasn't able to consistently hit even intermediate areas of his range when 10k Days released, the ASMR fluff on this is aural gynomastia.
I only listen to tool because of maynard.
Someone has a thesaurus
>No one's hair got blow back by FI.
That wasn't the point. There's a reason it sounds the way it does.
>There's a reason it sounds the way it does.
The band are hacks? Good reason
I don't think you know what hack means.
>hack
>/hak/
>noun: hack; plural noun: hacks
>1. a writer or journalist producing dull, unoriginal work.
>•a person who does dull routine work.
Sounds like Tool to me
