Does anything sound like this album lads? Like very catchy pop melodies with shoegaze and electronic instrumentation. Particularly songs like darkness and YWIEC.

didn't render properly lmao
Cheers mate I'll check these out and yeah that's pretty blatant. Acting is still a great song though
Honestly the closest thing on here is probably the kkb album, even that's not quite there though.
wot about seefeel
Yeah, they even cited Sweet Trip as a direct influence on the album. Stereolab is awfully close at times though, with Cobra and Margerine Eclipse there's a lot of similarity.
Definite heavy influence yeah. It's close but that grim London accent gets annoying after a while. Yeah stereolab are great. Just wish more shoegaze bands were influenced by then.
Too much of one voice on those KKB albums, yeah.
Here's some Stereolab-gaze:

Quality recs user cheers. Was gonna say ANL&LF come close.
Sweet trip has many many EPs and rarities as it is so you could just listen to those
Oh! Completely forgot about Luminous Orange.

And yeah, Lemon and Lime are a great band but Emergency Turn Off is bliss. A Stereolab track with the most ethereal sounding chorus out of nowhere, it's perfect.
The best of those rarities being:

Yeah it really is a great track.
Check out Deerhoof, specifically their album Breakup Song. It’s got a sound that’s something between YWNKW and VDC.
Yeah that's nearly there
Le bump
this rocketship song is suuuper YWNKW
the vocals on this remind of stuff off their soundcloud:

Sweet Trip opened for Cornelius for their Fantasma tour ironically enough.
