>liking gold is a black culture thing

In the ‘90’s. It started in earnest in the 2000’s and then got ridiculous under Obama.

The US government pushes it. The funny thing though is that it’s far inferior to what’s produced by artists around the world in other genres. And this difference in quality is glaring to anyone who has listened extensively to both

Ok schizo

what about, like, the rest of the 20th century?
rock and roll, blues, R&B, funk, soul, jazz...all integral parts of the music of the last century

What does the N in DNA stand for?

>government funded and was behind popular music for decades
>not behind rap that’s THE only music America makes commercially now

Sure thing, my glowing friend

>not liking based herbie hancock

Nubian dynasty

Look for the America flags they put in there. That’s 100% government shit.

The govenrment considers hip-hop quintessentially American. They do not like EDM because they can’t put messages in it very easily

>The govenrment considers hip-hop quintessentially American
I mean it sort of is though.

hiphop is a worldwide cultural phenomenon

take out the G and you spell OLD

Schizo

Gold is tacky

Why do you think 1/3 of the worlds gold is owned by indian women

cause auntie deserves it for cooking up a bitchin meal every day

I agree. I’m just explaining why trap took off like it did even though it really isn’t a very good genre of EDM and most producers ignore it.

Trap is literally the k-pop of America

>it's another "heh, don't agree? guess you don't understand music as well as i clearly do" post

Sure I am.

Also note when multiple people call you schizo in threads here, you’re saying something shills don’t like

>the american flag motif present on ASAP Rocky's mixtape and first album condemns ALL of rap music

That music was american not black.

It condemns the popular American-made trap artists, yes.

They put the flag in music videos all the time

Are you retarded? Do you think Kanye West putting a burning cross in his Jesus Walks video endorses the kkk?

Based

Modern black culture is pretty much just hedonism on steroids and can only really exist in a culture of excess; cultures that are in an excess state of mind (see: the entire west right now) end up in decline (see: the entire west right now). It seems like one of the symptoms of a cultural death spiral. Similar to how shows like Keeping Up with the Kardashians has been a massive show. Granted this is by no means only black culture's fault, but its' certainly the leader of the pack.

So is Hip Hop.

>marginalizing and even erasing the rappers, DJs, dancers, visual artists, producers, fans, promoters, etc. of all non-black races who have been supporting, participating in, and developing hip-hop culture since the beginning
yikes

Exactly, it’s American culture, not black culture.

Actually believing someone drilled holes in their teeth while they were still alive. It's obvious the skull was altered post mortem just look at the gold paint...

aw fuck I guess I dyslexia-read your post
but still, hip-hop has been much more than just an American cultural phenomenon for pretty much as long as it's existed
are you really gonna just write off, say, the Japanese turntablism scene like that?
One of the most legendary DJs in the world, Nujabes, was Japanese, and his style can't be reduced to mere mimicry of American DJs
and he's just one example in a massive world of music

obviously they had their skin and muscles and everything removed, their skull painted gold, and then everything you put back on
you fucking retard

Most American genres have spread beyond America.

and thus they are no longer simply American genres
pop cultural phenomena truly belonging specially to one geographical are is quickly becoming a thing of the past; culture has pretty much always had a way of globalizing, even in ancient times, and telecommunications technology has exploded this innate tendency
I mean, hell, old Japanese culture would have been vastly different without strong influence from China (and India by way of China)
spreading, mixing, and remixing, is what culture does

So that means that other “American” genres aren’t American anymore either.

Yes.

indian cuisine is hit and miss desu

It's Black misic at it's core

>Take the L out of gold and it spells God
