Tastes change over time--- If you were above the age of 16, you'd know that. It's reasonable to have many favorite albums over time. Thus, one never truly has *one* favorite album, but many. How's high school coming along?

I feel a strong emotional attachment to John Coltrane's Ascension and Sung Tongs, but how could I pick one over the other? I enjoy them in such different ways that it would be futile to compare. Logically incorrect. Favorite is by definition your most preferred out of all experienced. You have to listen to your favorite album of all time in order for it to be your favorite album of all time. Albums you don't know about can't be favorites.
