1. EQ every instrument to a different
frequency range. That way nothing is
on top of eachother sonically, if
multiple instruments are "stacked" they
will squash the loudness when you
master the track,
3. Mix. mix everything now after the new
EQing, and wile mixing, EQ the master
track with each section (bass, mid, high)
you should be able to have each
section really shining to their maxamumm
now that no instruments will be squshing
the power.
2. Mastering, after you have everything
EQd and mixed, master the song by
compressing (not too much!) the
master track, and slowly turn up the gain- not all
the way. adjust the any EQing in the
master track now if you've noticed
any issues but you shouldn't be EQing
all that much (if at all!!!) Slowly turn up
the gain again until the master volume
is hitting 0. Tada! a perfect LOUD mix!

whats boring about it? Its engaing, the breaks are chaotic and move on into a a softer slower sound near the end. The progression is smooth, i messed around with the samples (sampling chirumiru cirno and yukkuri perfect math class) for some sort of catchy-ish vocals.
Im not pretencious, frankly id say im one of the least pretencious people you'd ever met. I never even attempted to say my music is expermental --- it isn't. Its breakcore, its a take on a genre borrowing a bit from lolicore and the softer side of it too, its not like there's anything new about it but there doesn't have to be. Music doesn't have to be innovative to be good, my melodies are memorable and the breaks flow well, samples make it engaging and the mood and atmosphere works out well and isnt over the top. My mastering sucks, though. Im still gonna update this track later :x You're the tryhard niggy.

I appreciate it but I think you don't really know much of what you are saying, music doesn't need to be so loud, cover art doesn't matter for non major pop artists (and I was getting impatient waiting for people to have time to do it so I did it quick myself), the mix is fine albeit a heavy bass I can edit later, it should sound like new age ambient and house fusion like music for a game or movie soundtrack, and it says right in the description that there are vocals coming soon. Stand alone it is background music, as are nearly all instrumentals, for example the instrumental for Utada Hikaru's Kingdom Hearts themes, Dua Lipa's New Rules hit, or even Let It Go without vocals added. Instrumentals need not be extravagant.

I'm curious what experience you have and what you have produced desu. I want to know where you are coming from, I'm new to this board. Which post has your music? Is this one or two different people?
