I somewhat agree. I absolutely adore this mixtape, it was a pill in the applesauce for me to get into more experimental hip-hop, but the driving force for its greatness was Yams and Clams. Rocky's ability to flow over so many different sounds is impressive, but his lyricism grew so much more underwhelming and interesting over time with every new release because he never grew in that area.

This is definitely part of the truth, Clams' production really made Rocky's sound in the beginning, but mad credit has to go to Rocky for finding a flow/lyrical style that worked so well over those beats. Unfortunately it doesn't translate to mainstream trap beats very well, so we were left with really disappointing shit for all his following albums. Live.Love.A$AP still remains a classic though

I've got this as a double LP. Pretty sure it's just Mp3s pressed to wax but it still sounds pretty cool, some tracks wayyy better than others (e.g. Trilla vs Bass). The artwork is quite nice all round, would recommend a copy for any fans
