Let alone MJ being a kid diddler, anything that he can do Prince can also, twice as better. Prince actually wrote his songs and knew how to play multiple instruments, he was a musical genius. MJ is just a decent singer with flashy moves, nothing else.

Prince was better but Michael was great too, at least back in the 80s. The biggest problem is that starting in the 90s Michael managed to beat even Elvis in worst declines of a pop star while Prince continued putting out solid if not remarkable work until he died. It’s inevitable that his legacy would look diminished in comparison.

Prince never came close to releasing a front to back album as good as thriller or off the wall. Quincy and Temperton might have made most of it happen but honestly MJ was better at collaborating with talent and that’s why he’s the king of pop and Prince is a pretender to the throne. Quincy couldn’t make James Ingram or Patti Austin into what he made MJ into because MJ had the raw talent. That’s why he’s the Goat
