also have sex
i agree IF you agree that:
1. pic related is their best album ever
2. ronnie james dio is their best singer ever
3. headless cross is their second best album
4. tony martin is their second best singer
So are you gonna post something?
Tbqh I liked BS with Ozzy and never felt like Sabbath without him. His voice made it a bit goofy, you kinda believed it's a hippie band first and foremost, beyond their lyrics and riffs.
ozzy sabbath is definitely my favorite. and you're right, when dio is the frontman it feels like "dio and a band," not black sabbath anymore
their first five albums are all outstanding
Later Sabbath is good but early Sabbath just has that stroke of genius about it. It's probably not so much about the people involved as that they happened to be in the right place at the wight time and everything just came together.
Anything Eddie Trunk likes = overrated boomer garbage.
based
>hey happened to be in the right place at the wight time and everything just came together
That's how I've always seen it, it was the perfect storm of a band. None of the members would have gone anywhere on their own or in a band that didn't treat each other like family. Reading Ozzy's book really drives it home how hungry the band was for success and how much faith they had in each other to make it happen.
Guess I'll get this thread started then
yeah what's next? the beatles are overrated? come back when you're 18
a
Sabotage is a better album than most people give it credit for.
pet_sounds.jpg
All of Kiss and the Scorpions
Nothing posted so far is that overrated. Sabbath and Velvet Underground have held up really well. Metallica is probably a bit overrated, sure.
Here's some real overrated boomer icons:
Monkees
KISS
Aerosmith
AC/DC
Guns 'n' Roses
Elvis
Sinatra
Bing Crosby
ABBA
Paul McCartney
Queen
It's highly rated for them, but you're the center of the universe.
super accurate except for Paul, he's based
He was okay with The Beatles, but his solo career got pretty bad after the first couple of albums.
Plus he adds the mythology and iconography
thank you, velvet underground is so fucking overrated
If anything they still don't get the mainstream recognition they deserve. Only people who know them are rock music collectors.
Fuck you, zoomers for Sabbath
heaven and hell is pretty solid but tony martin is hot garbage
>frank sinatra
based
sammy davis jr was the real performer, all of Frank's specials are just him dabbing on Dean for being a drunk
Dean was a better singer than Sinatra too. Sinatra was just the proto-rockstar for the era
KISS is underrated.
Any Beatles album
Beatles.
It's grandpacore at this point.
You mean grandmacore.
Repent zoomer
Based. Who doesn’t fucking love “I was made for lovin’ you”?
they have some good songs but it's mostly meh

>Overrated
>Boomer
Nice bait
The real boomer album would be Master of Puppets not Kill 'Em All.
Sinatra was the best youre a retard
He makes cheesy music for women afraid of real jazz.
Worth the price of admission for Hole in The Sky and Symptoms of The Universe alone. (But I'll bet there are some people who probably like Am I Going Insane)
See
...
Sabbath made huge leaps towards metal and influenced countless people, Master of Reality alone inspired an entire genre.
overrated except for changes. so good
Leave the hall
if into the void didn't give you goosebumps the first time you heard it you need to be medicated
Glenn Hughes is actually their best singer
paul simon
dickhead opinion
okay boomer
Graceland is legit one of the best pop albums of the 20th century, if not the best.
Queen
Rod Stewart
Elton John
Elvis
The Who
Dire Straits
Status Quo
ladies and gentlemen welcome to the pleb thread.
His entire catalog is solid to brilliant songwriting. Either the best lyricist of his generation or second only to Dylan.
Only hard/classic rock is boomercore. Folk rock doesn't count.
Take The Who off the list and I'll agree.
If you're going to call a Black Sabbath album Boomer garbage, use Paranoid
Literally no Boomers even listen to this album
>namefag is a tastelet zoomer
*gasp* how could this be!
>fuck boomers
>what do you mean you don't like the velvet underground?
>people still think you had to belong to a coven or something to know who the Velvet Underground were
Lump em in with AC/DC already
troll culture
I barely listen to metal but I really like Black Sabbath.
It reminds me a lot of The Exocist movie, one of those trailblazers that inspired an entire genre; but when you actually experience them its quite cool because they never really tried to be what we now consider Metal/Horror. It just was what it was.
You must not go out much. Normalfags have no idea who TVU is. No one in my family or co-workers probably do except one older guy who is really into prog rock and 60s psych. If you're comparing them to AC/DC, you probably haven't left your mom's basement in a few years.
