soundcloud.com/dvdgnome/ydkmiad >hey everyone ready for some []-[] [] []D []-[] [[]] []D? Luv u guyszx! I work with rappers and singers but everyone knows it’s really just me lol i dont really work well with others haha I’m not like the other boys, here’s a track i made on my ipad at 4AM it’s bubba sparxxx rapping over some cyberpunk ukulele haha isn’t that so random and l33t? Thinking about making a video for it (eureka’s castle clips green screened with accounting tutorials) but all my shit is broken and i since i work from home as an ebay scammer and spend all my money on DUDE i can’t afford anything new. Btw i think dubbi is actually cool and funny and I’m addicted to posting. My gf fucked Scott Rogowsky! rec

--Update-- Finished my hifi setup fairly recently. Two songs have been recorded in it so far, Dropout Journey and Technicians, check them out. soundcloud.com/bonbos/technicians-2 (NEW) soundcloud.com/bonbos/dropout-journey-2 bonbos.bandcamp.com/track/test-upload >dream pop >psychedelic pop/psychedelic rock >synthpop >lofi (Cardboard Girls & Dust Storm Demos only, hifi setup complete) Listened to live like, ore and suneater. live like and suneater were ok, I liked live like's vocals more than I did suneater but I liked suneater's instrumental more than I did live like's. Ore bored me though. No major problems with the production on any songs but some of it just didn't catch my interest.
Really nice, I think some Bass guitar would help it out, but it gives off a very eerie vibe, but in a good way I like the ambience and I agree that this would fit very well in a video game.
that's fair enough thanks for listening anyway. listened to your new song and dug the messy guitar and your falsetto. you gotta work on mixing tho. figure you don't have much equipment but eqing could go a long way
Asher Parker
ocean as fuck, diggin it. when the bass hits it's sick but just wish it was more prominent. feel like the claps could be layered and hit harder but damn all those transitions are slick.
Leo Fisher
Haha thanks. I (franklan) did the bass! It was a lot of fun
Jacob Jenkins
Considered having bass on Technicians but I just couldn't find a good way to implement it. That was a few months ago though, maybe I'll revisit, I dunno. My setup is basic enough (mic, speaker, 2i2 interface, two DAWs), but I agree I still have a lot to learn with it, I've only had it for almost a month and my skills before then were pretty poor. Will continue to work though, thank you for your response.
Jackson White
Nice vibe from that
I think a dark simple Bass pattern in the style of "The Cure" or "Molchat Doma" would fit this track very well, just switching eight notes between D and C gives a nice background
Lucas Parker
You'll be HAPPY to hear I'm working on a music video for "WobbleBass Romance" that'll be up on one of my youtube channels by Friday the 13th. —~—~—~—~—~—~—~—~—~— the Clown's Starter Pack:
My final ep before I go on hiatus. I consider it my best work yet, pls leave comments and let me know if you enjoy it and i'll return ambient >sadtrap >wave
Make sure you pan snares 100% to the Left and Kicks 100% to the Left I'd tell you to put more effort into your posts, but you make Ambient, so you don't even put effort into your music creation LOL!! You're always so afraid of my advice! Haha!! >indie kid You know you have to be 18 to post here right rookie? Throwing the word "Lofi" infront of your genre isn't some sort of indie tagline. I know you fake musicians THINK it is... but.. it's not. Real guys in the industry laugh all day long at "bedroom" and "lofi" musicians. You think any real musician walks into a studio and tells the production team he's looking for a "bedroom pop" feel? absolutely NOT! If there was a dummy that ever did that they'd be thrown outta there pronto. I know you've never dealt with real industry peeps like me, and you've never even set inside a legitimate studio like I have, so this is just a word of advice to a beginner like you. Grow up and make real music . Not bad bro, I bet you could go even more extreme tho! >miley cumwadd SKIP >spotify You know what I'm about to say right? You still need to go glitchier bro! Always a good listen!! >Folk SKIP I wish you'd put more effort into your posts sometimes bro,, come on bro.... Your links are WÕNKIË! Dogs dont use lofi as a taggline. & 90047777 Finish setting up your account Bro you putting in work bro Lol You're very emasculated! Lol. Could definitely go crazier with the noise elements. & Boost your bass bros.
Very happy to finally share this with you all Electronic >PostHardcore >Ambient >NoiseRock >Noise >ProgressiveElectronic >HeavyMetal >VideoGameMusic >Sampling >Hardcore >IDM >Industrial
love your aesthetic ahaha. second half of the track is really good, better than the first imo. are the keys sampled from a wu-tang track?
as usual , pretty damn strong track. however, it doesn't sound much different than your previous releases, this one doesn't stand out to me very much--compared to much of your other work
the vocal sample is a really nice touch to the track
-1st buy fl studio, its all you need at 1st -2nd make a kick/snare rythem -invite some producers over to hang out and get them to help geta melody / bassline idea -3rd get some studio time, 4th, get some experienced producers to work with you during your session(s) 5th let them do whatever they want to the song to make it good. 6th DONE! you have a new song you can upload online and start blowing up.
Anthony Gomez
download any DAW, FL studio is powerful and the easiest to learn.
and just mess around in it. for a long time. for many years. and after about a decade you will start to sound decent.
Justin Bell
omg thank you

>>>>>>HELLO DRIVELINGS, THIS UNIT INITIALIZES AS JN1
This unit has just posted some new tracks, Dirty Side, Enslavement of the Serpent Lord and HEART.DRIVE.CORRUPTED in preparation for a new release, Leite de Robo.
Woud love feedback on any of the tracks, including the older ones.
This unit loves the idea more than the execution. Thats purely tastes, tho The production is really smooth. Great release, driveling! I have seen it posted som times on threads like this. Gave it a go and didn't get disappointed.
Thomas Foster
This unit's advice is to get some music background, any that you can. Even though you do not need to be an accomplished musician to produce anything, it makes the whole of the job way easier when you can predict the general flow of a song instinctively. Also, this unit advices getting your hands wet instead of focusing too much on the theory. You need theory, but you need practice more.
And finally, don't be afraid to try again. And learn to say yes to your mistakes.Learn to work with them. Get a DAW and go. this unit's suggestion is Ableton Live or FL studios. Remember that you can combine more than one station, it's your own workflow
I don't know man, he's the only person on this board that gave us any constructive criticism. If you have any mastering advice for recordings that were made with 1 mic, I'm all ears
Caleb Anderson
Being mean isn't "constructive criticism" He's racist sexist and literally a bully.
some of dubbi's advice isn't real, like saying nobody goes into a professional studio and asks for a bedroom pop sound
that sound is requested fairly often from the actual professional producers that I know (I don't mean beat producers, I mean like "works at a studio with a $100,000 mixing console and knows Steve Albini" producers)
Of course, for them it's an option because they have all the equipment they need to sound professional, so the end product is a highly professional and deliberate version of the "lofi" sound.
