Yugoslavia had one of the strongest New Wave / Post-Punk scenes in whole of Europe, with many renown and acclaimed bands.
You can use this chart as your starting point or listen to some of these albums:

Šarlo akrobata – Bistriji ili tuplji čovek (1981)
Haustor – Treći svijet (1984)

P.S. This was the most potent time for music in Yugoslavia, but we also had a prog rock scene, Italo disco scene, many dance music scenes... there's a lot of stuff to explore
