I can’t think of a better Hip Hop album tat came out this decade

The poem at the end of Collapse & Appear is like the spiritual climax of the depressed. Slowly, it draws you into the void. A place of infinite space with no meaning. It somehow captures the essence of being without purpose and consumed by apathy, yet seeing the beauty of being able to feel these great, terrible things.

Is feel what your going for user, I really do, but it all came out corny dawg

NEWSPAPER’S A SHITSHOW
“IDIOT WITH A SLIT THROAT STUFFS COKE IN HIS PISSHOLE
KILLS FAMILY WITH MISSILES”

what the fuck is this shit

i like it even more than Mista Thoug Isolation

its hard to compare the two they're going for extremely different vibes

Fuuuck wich song is that from? It was years since i heard this thing but i still remember that line

his best work imo, alongside some of the three sided tape.

This is why Ugly Mane is great

His best, no question

>Really we're as significant as centipedes
>Crawl around the earth with no identities
>You're not special, don't pretend to be
>Your tendencies are so predictable it's difficult to remedy

>I'm a shadow always lurking
>Surrounded by death
>Even the towel rack reminds me of the handles pallbearers grip tightly on the way out of church
>What they use to lift you up into the back of that hearse
>I see a woman tighten grip on her purse
>Can’t be offended, she doesn't know my intentions
>She imagines the worst
>Around here, the conditions severe
>Around here, you tightrope between detachment and fear between the shattered fragments of existence that collapse
And appear
>Never changes, just exacerbates depression deeper year after year.
>pain weaving in, pain weaving out
>Heart-worms, sharp turns, Sparse words, scars-burns
>I spent a long time dying
fucking christ

>You got sativa, ignite it, world stiff as arthritis
>Dreaming about a crisis, all I fucking hear is sirens
>Climates turn to ice and your life turn to lifeless
>Sitting on my throne, I'm alone in the silence
>First hit the wax then you exhale the vapor >Economies collapse and your stack just some paper
>Running round a maze while they laugh in your faces
>Rather burn down the city get me fucking 50 acres
what the fuck does this mean?

Uneven Compromise is the best rap song ever made

No thats Deltron 3030

One out for my heart

"POLITICIAN FUCKS BITCHES WITH ISSUES"

Can someone recommend more melancholic music similar to songs like persistence and drain counter?

Facts are human arrogance we barely know a fraction

I was floored by this album in highschool. and then I listened to it more and just couldn't stay interested. it's literally this the album. his schtick gets old, fast

I remember I showed my friend this in highschool. he said "wow this intro is boring," and didn't make it past the first chorus of collapse and appear before he changed it to chance the rapper. he is now a sound cloud emo rapper. and I don't listen to rap anymore. what a happy ending.

what do you listen to now, big brain?

avant-prog, jazz, and brazilian folk

not the same guy, but I listen to all that, as well as LUM, but I do get bored with all hip hop very quickly these days

This is rap music's End of Evangelion

Was stoked to see he toured as much as he did on east coast this past year, had him sign my copy

Will manlets ever recover?

>force-fed myself with blow but now I settle for sedatives
>no longer in these streets, i belong in the crevices
>positively negatively, popular i've never been
>hard to be a person when you lack the mental requisites
>emotionally deficit, consumed with all this wretchedness
>not optimist or pessimist, my politics are in exodus
>spouting countless fountains out while drowning in the brine
>my lifes the foulest algorithm science can't define
