Did you buy headphones? then, why did you decide to live with a tinnitus?

i don’t give a heck

dude just shut the fuck up

Buddy, you could just make Tinnitus General threads for people suffering from the issue. I'm sure you're still learning to adjust to your tinnitus. Why not create a welcoming space where people can talk about theirs without it looking like the projection chamber of an anxious person?

t. tinnitus veteran

why did you got tinnitus?

Fuck the jews for holding back cochlear regeneration serums

>oh no these are valuable stem cells it has to be medically necessary dude, you have to be deaf, it's just an annoyance dude live with it

23 and my ears are already pretty bad... gotta be careful desu

YO TWO CURES/TREATMENTS for tinnitus

1) Massage the area at the back of your head where your skull meets your neck on either side of the spine. Look up the reddit tinnitus cure.

2) Crack your earlobes. Give them a little pull and they might crack and readjust the pressure in your ears.

I swear these work. Give them a try and let me know.

cite: 5 years as a music teacher

It's a byproduct of my TMJ. The audiograms don't show any noticable hearing loss, since I never suffered any acoustic trauma. But I got a cluster of around 7 tones of different frequencies and types (sin, saw, and square) divided between both ears.

I've been wearing in-ear headphones more or less daily since I was 12 years old. I'm 29 now. I haven't gotten tinnitus yet.

Just don't turn your volume all the way up you stupid fucks.

i think i recently developed hyperacusis, so i somewhat know how you're feeling. they're similar disorders; i think hyperacusis is supposed to be rarer. i've been managing better recently luckily.

i don't understand

im a heroin addict, tinnitus has no effect on me besides"that is a pretty cool sound"
fucking pussies

Bro, just pretend every song you're hearing on headphones is a Peel Session recording. >:=)

There should be no problem as long as you don't fucking blast your ears with them. Listen with reasonable volume. I'm 29 and I guess I have very slight tinnitus in left ear but not that noticeable

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

>I'm a heroin addict

pleb

Tinnitus isn't really a ringing. It's more like a high-pitched noise I can't get rid of.

Reminder that tinnitus is usually psychological, except in cases where it is precipitated by acute auditory trauma.

Me too buddy, often for 10-12 hours per day. I'm 38 and feeling gr8.

If I wasn't supposed to do that then why let me thrn it up dhfi loud

Bro, turn it the fuck down
I don't understand why people listen to music loudly, it's uncomfortable and doesn't make you cool

>used earphones through my entire teens
>always listened at reasonable volumes so I didn't get tinnitus
>go to my first show when I'm 19 and a half, ignorantly without any hearing protection
>have mild tinnitus since
>wasn't even a good show, went for social reasons
the way to protect your hearing is to not have friends, but I sincerely think you have to be a legit retard to get tinnitus from headphones. How fucking loud are you listening?

>go see night slugs in south london club
>warned beforehand the space is seriously loud, signs on walls warning to use earplugs and not stay in the club too long
>take earplugs with me and wear them all night
>still get permanent tinnitus from that one night

based

it was hard at first to adjust but I just live with it now, still have good memories of that night though

I listen to earphones daily but always on like 2/10 volume. Am I safe?

I mean, you could just wear earplugs to shows

anyone have moulded plugs? I was thinking of getting a pair

I had a tinnitus since I was 4, just as long as visual snow. I'm always amazed at how much people that get either or both later in life whine and can't deal with something I thought was normal for a good 16 years.

>always listen to music in low volume be proud of my good hearing
>get ears cleaned professionally at clinic every month/other month
>get ear infection one day
>have tinnitus that changes in sound frequency every few hours since then
fuck this bullshit
