It's weird because the older I've gotten, the more I've liked them. I used to hate this band, especially Come As You Are and Heart Shaped Box.

I still don't like Come As You Are very much. It's a complete knock off of that one Killing Joke song. I've come around on Heart Shaped Box though. That's a really good song.

My favorite songs are On a Plain, Love Buzz, Negative Creep, Scoff, Dumb, and Scentless Apprentice

Radio stations only ever play the most popular handful of songs by a band. The single from Bleach didn't even chart and the album itself got to 89. And there's already enough popular songs from their other two albums (though heavily leaning towards Teen Spirit) that they wouldn't bother.

They definitely should play Bleach (my pick would be Swap Meet but will take any), and more In Utero besides Heart Shaped Box and All Apologies. Was thrilling to hear Dumb on the local rock radio station a couple months ago, but Scentless Apprentice and Milk It never will.

A couple of years ago at a party my friend stood at the stereo headbanging with a kind of jesus dress on playing negative creep, shifting from loudest volume to low to loudest over and over again, when one of the landlords who was an alcoholic and lived on the floor below, came up drunk and screaming what the fuck we were doing.

I give her that it was around 3:30 am...But it was fun as fuck. She was cool the day after though.

no, it definitely isn't. it gets threads dedicated to it frequently, but anywhere else, it normally gets shit on. any grunge generals will usually shit on nirvana and praise alice in chains.
