Doesnt get the praise it deserves

To Be Kind is the best Swans album.

how is tgm that

it will be era defining kino, i’m telling you right now

the seer feels like the beast on the cover is hunting you down in a dark endless forest for ritualistic purposes, TGM just feels like an actual ritual

He hasn't changed since 95

You do know a song has been released, we have a whole raw album (What Is This?) and the end of The Glowing Man and Deliquescing off of Deliquescence to know what the album's gonna roughly sound like, this is different.
The Seer is fear of a higher power, TBK is an observation of life itself and TGM is reverence of a higher power

"People like us", "The Glowing Man" followed by "Finally Peace". It's from my point of view, but... if you go by the themes, they mostly reference a certain struggle to "reach something out", wich could very well be a higher (or divine) creative state of mind.
Did any of this make sense to you?

Man, that's exactly how I feel about the Seer. It's mankind observing nature's cicles, with a distinct pagan/satanic vibe to it all.

Based TGM poster. For once OP is not a faggot.

I think if TGM came out before TBK it would've been hailed as the 10/10 instead, it's just by this point the style they were doing was getting a little worn out for a lot of people. Michael Gira was right to decide to switch things up now.
