What beatles album should I listen to to get into them?
I listened to Sgt. Pepper and honestly thought it was mostly boring.

Fuck The Beatles!
What you really want to listen to is either The Punkles or Beatallica!

Rubber Soul. It's a nice meeting ground of Beatlemania and Psychedelia

Abbey Road is tried and true. Revolver is a great focal point in their discography between old and new though.

They didn’t do pyschedelic a until Revolver. Rubber Soul is the weed album.

This

You know what I mean. It's that inbetween album for them. Shades of Beatlemania and shades of what's to come

Yeah but I think it’s also important if he hears the early pop band stuff first to for context of the radical shift in their music and it’s importance.

I agree with that, but I think Beatlemania is more likely to scare off a new listener. Don't get me wrong, I love Beatlemania, and some of their best songs take place there, but I don't think it's where to begin if you're suspicious of The Beatles (which this guy probably is since he thinks Sgt Pepper is boring.)

I like to recommend the sister albums Rubber Soul and Revolver to newbies

Listen to it again when you're over 18.

who was Billy Shears?

Fake Paul's real name

Beatles are boring grandma pop aside from Tomorrow Never Knows.
Syd Barrett and his band made The Piper at the Gates of Dawn at a fraction of the cost and time of Sgt. Pepper and its way more engaging and interesting.

Depends on what you're after
Densely produced psychedelic pop
>Magical Mystery Tour (my top pick)
Rock
>Revolver
Folk
>Rubber Soul
Chaotic mix of every genre
>White Album

Start from Please Please Please me Jesus fucking Christ. Are you really going to miss their evolution through albums? Literally what is more impressive about them is their progress.

OK so my favourite artists are David Bowie. and ELO.
Which Beatles album would I like?

the white album and abbey road

The White Album is their best work. Especially the 2018 remaster that features the "esher" demo's of the tracks.

Sgt. Pepper is a bunch of granny shit buoyed up by an iconic cover; listen to the White Album instead

Do drugs and you'll realize it's their best album. I thought the same thing.

Revolver, it starts with Taxman.

"Please recommend me a Beatles album that is a good starting point to see if I have an interest in listening to more of their material."

"Yea just listen to all of their 13 albums."
Fucking retard

Weed is a psychotropic substance.

>THE WHITE ALBUM
>REVOLVER
>ABBEY ROAD
>Any of their early hits

Abbey Road

how the fuck do you have problems getting into The Beatles
They're the most radio-friendly normie music ever invented

You really think 13 albums is a lot? Please return to reddit faggot.
