it’s really good. about 9/10. i think it would be better if it wasn’t so slow and her lyrics were just put together to rhythm but actually made sense. very superficial, sounds good though. refreshing for the year at least....

Really great album, only big issue is Doin Time which kills the momentum and theme of the album. Should've been totally left out. That plus issues with song like Great American Record and others make it a 7.5-8 overall. Good but not amazing.

Lana Del Rey’s magnum opus

It's way too long for a Lana album. She's good enough for 40 minute albums, but not this. Gf likes it, some of my friends like it but I don't.

Lana is unironically my favorite artist; I have hundreds of her unreleased songs, demos, instrumentals, etc. With that said, I think NFR is utterly awful. I will never listen to it again. Lana is best with bombastic production, not an hour of minimalist piano, forgettable guitarwork, and absent drums. I am crushed by how bad it is.

Maybe its just not clicking for me but I saw that it had been getting really good reviews and listened to it- I dont think i'll ever listen to it again. Was just very forgettable and boring imo.

If you have the Studio 356 Sessions (as any true stan would) you would know this is pure Lana. What I miss are the oblique references to Crowley and the Occult that pepper her other albums.

It's hard to explain, but she's come from obscene privilege, and decided to sleep with a married, known sexual predator/dictator (Harvey Weinstein) to further her career, and wrote "Cola" to flatter him (and cast the "Ride" video with men who resembled him), and now she's preaching to Kanye West and Azealia Banks -- two artists who've actually come from nothing -- about women's rights and social justice. It's all reminiscent of Patrick Bateman at a fancy dinner party, talking about how what we REALLY need to do is feed the starving people in Ethiopia.
