I'm gonna be honest. It's not great. You gotta learn how to sing and fix your timing issues. Nobody can say you're not a songwriter, though. Just some more effort on the skilled aspect, and I think you could do something with it. I'm not trying to hurt your feelings, but singing through your nose is a technical issue you can fix.

The drone was well done, but I wish the mixing on the drums was better and the piano melody was a bit more coherent, it could've been a really excellent track. But I did enjoy aspects of it a lot!

Love the orchestral synths in the first track and the vocal samples. Really fits well with the dizzy hi-hats. Gave you a follow on Bandcamp! Really enjoyed this.

Just heard the first song on soundcloud but holy shit does it need work. It all comes down to the voice man its got this grunge style instrumental but then this wimpy ass offnote voice that just drives me crazy. yee, like if you play something live you painstakingly recreate the melody through mouse clicks (in your midi score piano roll or whatever) to be in the exact position rather than sounding a lil sloppy. sometimes you want the human factor in your piano. sometimes your DAW may have an instant quantization option. it's all subjective I guess

if you're good you can just e.g. select all the 8th notes, align to 8ths notes grid, select all triplets, align to triplets grid, etc. not that painstaking when you get used to it. if your daw doesnt have instant quantize... why?

Ok, here's what you really need to know. Bass is integral to music. It's is the true backbone to all music. Drums/Beats are ONLY rhythm, and guitars/synths etc are ONLY melody. But bass? Bass is BOTH. That's why bass makes or breaks a song. So when in doubt BOOST it out!
You should really stretch out your song lengths even longer.
Bro, "indie" isn't a safeword to avoid
criticism on EQing and mastering.
It's not just to clean up sound quality,
EQ is to make space for all
the elements to fit together.
If multiple elements of a mix occupy
similar frequency ranges and
attempt to fit into the same space,
the result will often sound muddy, and basically just a MESS, it
doesn't sound "hip" or whatever
you shmucks say its like,
its just embarrasing.
