Wow rock isn't dead after all! real music is back!

>wow rock isn't dead after all! real music is back!

how are people so bad at finding music? literally thousands of rock albums come out every year.

the vast, vast majority of "listeners" are completely idle and apathetic consumers of whatever background noises happens to be on

Boomers and larpers exclusively listen to the radio

Because people are lazy, and if they dont have an autistic intrest in music like people here they will never find anything beyond top 40

The grand majority of people on Earth aren't as interested in listening to music as someone who frequents this board might be. Kind of like how certain people might be really interested in movies, cars, trains, stamps, bottle caps, etc. but you might not be. So, the people who don't consider it a hobby of theirs don't know much about music other than what they hear on the radio or through word-of-mouth.

there are very few things in life that I use or consume on a regular basis that I didn't do at least some research on to find the best option, accepting inferior quality because it's what happens to be in front of you is NPC logic

i guess, but if someone was desperate for rock music to make a "comeback," you'd assume they try to seek it out.

I don't think there's really an objective "best option" for music because every individual person is looking to get something unique out of their listening experience. Like, what if somebody's looking for a band that basically sounds like a 21st century Led Zeppelin? Wouldn't GVF then be the best option for that?

What are some of the best of this year?

there's been like one good rock album this entire decade that i know of

They were handed "good" rock via radio and industry shilling

Going out of their way to actually deep dive and find new and exciting music is an alien concept. Easier to just bitch about the old days than to actually put in the work

There is absolutely a "best option" for music. Genre tourist until you find something you're really into and then start downloading discographies.

Because they can't handle rock progressing forward and need a boomer copy paste

the most based person on this board

if you want modern hard/psych rock just dig around this channel

unironically most of what the meme triumvirate (tame impala, oh sees, king gizzard) puts out is good

That's only the best option if that's the specific way of consuming music that you want to take, but this is where it comes back to how not everybody shares the same interests that anons on this board do. I don't need to build an engine to be granted the proper privilege to drive a car, even if that might give me a better understanding of it.

No, but I'm also not going to show up to a dealership and buy whatever's parked in front. That's the equivalent to radiofags here, except the car comes with ads on it.

Seeing as how apparently anyone can get in now. Im calling for Ryu or Nina from BoF.

i guess if they just want modern zeppelin greta van fleet works, but it seems really weird that people were just listening to nothing but 70s albums until GVF came along.

i guess im a music autist because i dont get how you could be a fan of a genre and not seek out new music in that genre.

oh shit how did I do this here? the fuck

two, there's that live

get the fuck out nerd

low IQ zoomers love black cock

nigga you on 4chins too.
