You can make what you will about this information but the fact remains that there might be more than one thing that these people have in common. I know they are all males and that every single one of them only give 5 stars to music that is hegemonically white. They all have certain shared core values. Most of them thrive in irony. I can safely assume most of them are quite young. Every single one of them comes from a country that they might perceive as part of "the west" (though I'm pretty sure that the ones living in the first world/european countries would totally murder the arggies and the brazilian).

Fascism, as with any ideology, isn't something cookie-cut; it isn't easy to grasp, you have to read the subtleties and the ways they look at the world. In a sense, I think that being aware of this is a great exercise to understand how these ideas propagate. My qualms against this site is that the mere fact that they would let these things exist here, under the very liberal idea that under the marketplace of ideas the best ones will triumph over the bad ones (which is a fucking lie: In the marketplace of ideas what ultimately prevails is who has the most clout, the most attention. Attention is the capital of the marketplace of ideas and this is why Donald Trump became president of the United States, and the fascists know this), only further feeds the Hitler Industrial Complex, not realising that the mere existence of these pages cataloging Hitler and/or any nazi releases translates into free attention and this means free capital. It means these fuckers will still be on the loose as long as we give them a platform to pimp to their own benefits.

I mean, examples of what right wing propagandists and idelogues try to put forth are abundant and they usually argue and rally for the disregard of any work of art that doesn't focus on anything but technical talent, labeling it as weak and cheap art. This is, of course, not because they really care much about the technical aspects but that they are actually against anything that challenges them and their ideals; anything that puts them on the line has to be met with violent opposition. It's no wonder why most of them would rather listen to extremely technical metal and prog, Trout Mask Replica, Frank Zappa, Rush, Dream Theater or Cardiacs, than, say, Van Dyke Parks, Animal Collective, Frank Ocean, Post-Punk, Hip Hop or Twee Pop. They are very keen to appreciate innocuous art that won't disrupt the status quo and the set of values that the current ruling ideology predicates. Ironically, tho, in their very one-sided rejection of this art, reactionaries fulfill art's purpose –giving that work of art reification in the world–, while denying themselves with the possibility of any internal growth, and if this reminds you of Hegel's Mastership and Servitude dialectics in the Phenomenology of Spirit, you are fucking right!
