Wrong, Lateralus is worse.

Other than that
Aenima>undertow>opiate>lateralus > [quantum Big leap] > elp Black moon > an Iron board > The Concept of sleeping >some salted peanuts > some regular peanuts > all the rest.

Lateralus is more well-composed & a overall better listening-experience. That said however, Ænima does come close.

Checked. Aenima is fantastic, but I like Lateralus a little more myself. They’re both great, probably my two favorite albums by anybody

Aenima and Undertow are their only redeemable albums, and even then they aren't great.

While most of tool sounds samey, Aenima, Latralus, and 10,000 days are all really different as albums if you think about it.
I don't know how to compare them cause they all do different stuff better.
