Cute stuff!! The cheap electronics are super charming, the progressions are generic, but that would fit so well for a video game OST. Calm stuff, really cool how it becomes swallowed up in all that reverb and comes back in tight, super cool. Jesus christ those drums at the end hahaha, awesome triplet patterns. Was that actually played live and then quantized or was it some grain chopping program or was it written in?

Congrats on the release dude! I know you've been working on it for some time. Do you use a Microkorg? That bell synth that modulates at the beginning sounds like a patch that I loved so much and used a lot. Crazy sampling and structure that just keeps going on these tracks.

Rawly bizarre. I'm not a fan of this much lack of structure and free form instrumentation, but love the dissonance. The "chorus"-ey part where you go falsetto is actually really cool and pretty, would be amazing if this was produced and performed better honestly, but man it's just a matter of continuing to create, cuz I would really like to see where this goes and how it shapes up! The modulation on the vocals is really cool. You a fan of TMV?

Pretty, solidly written straightforward stuff! I can appreciate people who just write a good formula'd tune, cuz I feel like it takes a lot out of me to make something that makes common sense melodically especially vocally. 1. EQ every instrument to a different
frequency range. That way nothing is
on top of eachother sonically, if
multiple instruments are "stacked" they
will squash the loudness when you
master the track,
3. Mix. mix everything now after the new
EQing, and wile mixing, EQ the master
track with each section (bass, mid, high)
you should be able to have each
section really shining to their maxamumm
now that no instruments will be squshing
the power.
2. Mastering, after you have everything
EQd and mixed, master the song by
compressing (not too much!) the
master track, and slowly turn up the gain- not all
the way. adjust the any EQing in the
master track now if you've noticed
any issues but you shouldn't be EQing
all that much (if at all!!!) Slowly turn up
the gain again until the master volume
is hitting 0. Tada! a perfect LOUD mix

just to clean up sound quality, EQ is
to make space for all the elements
to fit together. If multiple elements
of a mix occupy similar frequency
ranges and attempt to fit into the
same space, the result will often
sound muddy, and basically just a
MESS, it doesn't sound "indie" or
whatever you shmucks say its like.

it's a midi beat with grain chopping yeah. really wish i knew how to chop beats up in more complex patterns than that though

Agreed with the sentiment of the third sentence, I'm not a skilled player but I'll be damned if I don't salvage a good take out of my mistakes and keep moving forward, I've been sluggish on finishing the last few demos for Dust Storm as of late and I still need to rerecord the rest of them in hifi.
