When people try to look cool talking about grunge, they'll always shit on Nirvana and say that the best band is Alice in Chains. The truth is that Alice in Chains can barely even be counted as grunge at all. It's more like hair metal, except now they're dressed in flannel. There's a reason a lot of the same sorts of faggots that like Guns n' Roses claim Alice in Chains is the only decent grunge band. Further proving this, people in the grunge scene didn't particularly like AiC either. They were never viewed as real grunge, similar to Pearl Jam or Stone Temple Pilots.
If you really want to impress people by saying Nirvana isn't the best band in the grunge scene , at least say an actually good band like Soundgarden or something.
