Oh that was me! Glad you like it. I love their mix of gongs space Rock with Hatfield jazz rock and a bit of RIO.

E G G is based as hell. Long piece no. 3 is a masterpiece.

This is the crown jewel of the Canterbury scene. It’s the culmination of everything that made it great.

what are your thoughts on progressive rock band Rush?

they're ok, I still prefer mostly anything out of the Quebec scene as far as canadian prog goes, it's the french sensibility that gets me

Quiet Sun, pic related.
Based and Maneige pilled.

Tierlist of prog scenes:

Canterbury > Rest of UK = Quebec > Japan > Midwest >>> Everything else

What do you think about the Latin american scene?

What about Italy? No love for PFM etc?

I'm interested. Only heard the first 3 Soft Machine albums and they were geniuses. Are their discog worthy after those albums?
Any chart or essentials to get into Canterbury?

Hello /prog/, please enjoy this relaxing and interesting symphonic prog album. For fans of Camel

Based. Their s/t is very good, some of the best keyboard playing I've heard from the era. Have not listened to that album though.

Definitely check it out! I wish I could listen to of Queues and cures for the first time again.

Thanks user! I screened this and will check em all soon
