it's just a good collection of songs, even if it's more subdued compared to their earlier works. Below the salt is a great post rock track

I'll take your word for it. I don't tend to like post-rock although I guess it's as quality as any genre. It's just more painful to experience the mediocrity in it since it's so long-winded.
