Look at his face

He barely has a will to life to begin with.

>listening to music on headphones
deserved

Boo fucking hoo
Tinnitus isnt that bad

Unless he had something wrong with his ears to begin with, it's his own fault for having them on too loud.

dumbest reason to kill yourself

no reason to blast music so hard anways

someone sent me ear rape over a week ago and my ears have been fucked since. no tinnitus symptoms luckily, but based off my internet research, it appears to be hyperacusis. i have not been able to listen to any music the past five or so days because it's too painful. even really soft shit like elliott smith, even without earbuds, fucks with my ears too much. my doctor's appointment is tomorrow.

i dont listen to music

what else?

I have no idea how loud the music I listen to is supposed to be. Any rule of thumb?

feel bad for you man, been fooled with ear rape once and am paranoid ever since. my left ear ist kinda fucked since a girl screamed really loud into it when I was like 6 though

sue him

yeah, it sucks a lot. i've been wearing ear plugs in constantly now.

he didn't do it maliciously. it wasn't just straight-up ear rape, it was like a crazy loud metal song that raped my ears. he listens to it all the time and he claims it never hurts his ears. i guess i just have weak baby ears.

Lower than you think unfortunately

what kind of headphones do you use?

nvm i'll just get tinnunis i suppose

I have to play music loud because I hate missing any intricacies in the production. Am I doomed to get it or do I just need higher quality headphones

>i guess i just have weak baby ears.
Sometimes I wonder if being too safe with how you play your music might lead to that. Maybe you just get used to low volumes and then you're not ready to deal with loud shit.

>ringing in the ears
Was he listening to DSOTM at the time?

I've had mild tinnitus in my right ear since I was a kid, I thought the background noise I heard was normal. Turns out it isn't.

jesus this boards a mess, just gonna post here. does anyone know where I can find more of this sad afro-american music from like the depression era? youtube.com/watch?v=K_DOnKJ232M

uhhhhh then how am I supposed to listen to matt and shane's secret podcast on full volume user? maybe think before you say something?

it's ear rape isn't it

he's doing blues music.
i personally recommend robert johnson, lead belly, blind willie johnson, and son house.

based

same

>>this board his a mess
>he isn't aware of the existence of blues music

Is that JWittz?

probably a zoomer newfag

bump

>listens to the MDR7506s once

>the virgin "blasting music while wearing headphones and getting tinnitus" vs the Chad "blasting music out of your speakers and the neighbors keep calling the police on you"

never go above 60%
ever

Is Shane Gillis the thinking man's Nick Mullen?

I've listened to music and videos with ath m50s/mdr7506s for nearly a decade now. Most of it is around ~50% but I've cranked it up many times and never felt anything off. I also play shooter games at max volume, but I use open headphones with those if that makes a difference. This guy must have done something really fucking dumb to get it bad enough to kill himself.

He probably didn't listen to FLAC

Select a volume setting you are satisfied with and never turn it up from that. Every headphone set user guide tells you how to listen safely, it's mandatory.

After a concert my ears were ringing very hard and also I was hearing everything as if through a low pass filter. It just went off in 2 days. Now I'm fine but I still listen at loud volumes and I start to notice that I lost a bit of my hearing since then

its gonna catch up to you

Same but both ears

>listening to music
deserved

Eh I don't do it much at all anymore with the closed headphones. I don't know why, I just don't feel the need to, maybe the novelty wore off or something. But I'll admit the vidya might get to me.

Unfortunately, I think he just needed an excuse. I’m sure there is something he could have done post-tinnitus to help

That being said, put your shit on the quiet setting anons!!!

Just blast more music to cover up the EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Maybe he could fix it by listening to white noise. I had a pixel error on my phone once and ran a video that just blinked rapidly to repair it.

He ded.

Good idea.

bump!!!!!!!!!

will do thank you
