Imho slayer was the first thrash metal band to stop being worth a damn. They only had two good albums. Metallica and Anthrax had like, four.
Not that you're not allowed to like their older stuff, or even their newer stuff, or their live shows, but you're casting some doubt on your own taste there. They just weren't very good after seasons in the abyss.
