to be honest I'm kind of bummed that it's more live instruments, I want them to go back to the electronic sounds eventually.

He also was the guitarist on JD and FW

and all tracks on Bottomless Pit feature guitar.

I hope it's a death/grind/thrash/black influenced album.

I have literally never heard a Death Grips song in my life.

No I lost interest in them because their music isn't very good. The best thing they ever did was the Bjork remixes and their instrumentals.
I like the instrumentals, they're great, but Ride is cringe. I think he holds them back, if Death Grips were an instrumental project like Hella I would definitely be a fan.
But I can't get into a 40 year old man rapping about cum and Satan over post-industrial beats, it's just lame.

This, that's the only dg album I can still enjoy, apart from some songs on ex-military.
