I'm not an audiophile but I just bought those Cambridge Audio true wireless earbud things for my ipod because it was realtively inexpensive compared to others.

Is Cambridge Audio any good? they don't arrive for another couple of days

Wireless anything is most of the times bad unless we're talking Sony WH-1000XM3 or Bose QC 35. Or, maybe a good IEM with a mmcx/2pin wireless cable like pic related.

Any recommedations for an entry level (read: not too expensive) DAC which also serves as a headphone amp? Is there a noticable difference to just attaching headphones to the line-out jack of the built-in audio chip?

Fiio Q1 on Aliex.
They suck compared to the DT880 Pro. Even the M40X is a better closed option than the DT770.

I'm using a Sony MDR-Z7 with a FiiO E10K Amp/DAC when using on my computer, and with a FiiO A3 portable amp when using with my phone

Do you get dropouts with these? I bought a pair of pic related and I still get drop outs on occasion.
