sick chords and chill vocals, only thing i would say is that the drums are a bit to hard hitting (and maybe a bit too loud in the mix?) for a lofi song. what are those, distorted 909s?
this is tight, don't know what else to say. i like the blend of the metal riffs and drum fills (blastbeats?) in combination with the cute layered vocals

shits cool. it feels like a mesh of ideas but in a good and captivating way. if anything, i'd say the intro might be shortened but it could just be my ADHD zoomer brain. I like how it gradually shifts between various ideas but still retains the core "shoegaze" sound. full album when?
admittedly i like the glitchier sounding parts of this more, the song "Slower" sounds like Kid A title track, and that robotic voice is something I've been trying to achieve for a really long time. That being said, I feel that the album has a strong identity problem and that the two ideas often feel disparate. Everything individually is well made though, I followed you.
Sounds kinda of derivative doesnt it? I feel like I could find this exact beat by searching "lo-fi hip hop beat" and sorting by upload date. if those are your vocals, they are really good and deserve to be on some more unique instrumentals.

yeah I was a little hopped up off of adderall and wax and this song was my comedown and realization I need to fucking stop.
I wasn't thinking Jack U or Skrillex at all, maybe Skrillex - With You Friends (Original Mix) just by the vocals, if thats what you're thinking. I feel most of my inspiration comes from Slow Magic x Shawn Wasabi type styles.
The vocals are actually 3 separate vocals, chopped and pitched into one solid arrangement, then i duplicated it and reversed one and just made them go call and response off each other during the drop. Glad you enjoy it though.

i'm a sucker for mellotron, been trying to incorporate it into my work lately. the songwriting is really good, e.g. the second half of "see the children play" works so well with the ambient first half, "the moon is singing the night away" is just a cool piano ballad, instrumentals like "sleepless night.." are peculiar enough to have a 'personality.' will definitely revisit

I'd say get some better recording equipment or turn it down just a bit, some songs get irritatingly loud for a couple seconds (middle of Shoot Your Gun, that passing car sound on Black Striped Yellow Cars are two big ones).

hey! thanks for the feedback. yeah, we really didnt pay much attention to the mixing and probably to our detriment. the truth is that it was recorded on one relatively cheap mic (Blue Snowball) and none of us were confident enough in mastering to do anything besides compress and normalize it.

Not bad overall, but bro heres a tip for getting your guitars to actually sound heavy since you're not as expirienced as me:
Turn knobs marked "gain" or "overdrive"
all the way up. Turn other volume
knobs down to get the loudness
you want. Once you've proved
you can get heavy distortion,
dial things back to find the tone
you want. Focus on being LOUD!!
Some amps won't distort at low
volumes, mainly because that's
dumb as all hell LOL. If yours is like
this, either just play loud or give up.
