His discography is incredibly spotty.

based

exactly. his first two albums are fucking based, indicud is meh, satellite flight fucking sucks, and speedin bullet and demon slayin are good

80% of chan knows cudi .
Garentee he has helped more people with mental health than credited for.

I'm probably gonna write an essay-tier post on it in one of these threads someday, but I really do think it is something pretty special. Indicud is the result of him trying to combine MoTM with what he learned making WZRD.

It was his first time having a significant hand in the production of some of the songs, and you can tell. Just What I Am is super MOTM-esque and poppy, but the best songs on the album are the ones he clearly produced himself and tried to imbue with what he learned from WZRD. Unfuckwittable, for example, is a super unique, brilliant piece of song writing but sounds very amateurly produced. That contrast somehow makes the song better. The atmosphere of the entire album, intentional or unintentional, sounds more cold and alien than anything in hip hop music.

It reminds me of The Life of Pablo in a lot of ways - the first half being super focused stretch of brilliance while the second half is a series of tacked on but still pretty good tracks. Like Pablo, that first half is what really holds the album down. The Resurrection of Scott Medusi -> Girls is, if not the best, certainly the most successfully unique stretch of tracks in his discography.

>Like Pablo, that first half is what really holds the album down.
Hard disagree, I prefer the 2nd half by actual miles.
I also haven't listened to wzrd

THINGS GET CRAZY AND I FEEL I'M LOSING MY MIND
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO
I'M GOING INSANE AND I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHY
THERE'S ONLY ONE THING TO DO
I'M FLOATING THROUGH THE NIGHT ON A RED EYE, RED EYE
(THROUGH THE NIGHT ON A RED EYE, RED EYE)
I'M FLOATING THROUGH THE NIGHT ON A RED EYE, RED EYE
(THROUGH THE NIGHT ON A RED EYE, RED EYE)

Speaking of wzrd, Teleport 2 me will never be acknowledged as the masterpiece it is. I weep

>take your meds
Now your a drug addict.

smoke some weed if you have any. have fun!

This album is good. Just What I Am and Red Eye are my faves.

swim into the light

I’ll die on the belief that there’s enough post MOTM2 tracks in Cudi’s discography to make a 10/10 MOTM3

Love, Teleport To Me, Balmain Jeans, Brothers, the list goes on...

this album is alright, but jesus christ, Girls is the worst Kid Cudi song ever made aside from Chip Douglas from SB2H. All that build up for such a shitty hook.

>CUDDERS HAD AN ITCH SO I SCRATCH IT

its not very good guys

You can always try again tomorrow

(OP)
This has been my favorite Cudi album for a while now. Incredible stuff.

I keep thinking this is Blues For the Red Sun by Kyuss.
