Yep, listening to all that music was really worth it

Boomers wasted most of their life watching garbage TV sitcoms and football. Music is more valuable than that.
bruh
Grandpa just listen to the new Tool album before you go.
>hmmm yes, [X thing] was really worth it
>*dies*
yeah and boomers are retarded faggots
the difference is you won't luck into that post WWII economic windfall where you can buy a house working at burger king.
you're living in full on neoliberal globalist big business raping the planet era. it's work or rot. we don't have time for frivolous nonsense like they did.
>we don't have time for frivolous nonsense like they did
what exactly do you think you're doing here
overdramatic millenials are the worst
boomers could fuck around and waste time and still make $$$
you guys can't. i can because i inherited a lot of money and don't work. you guys? have fun with that student debt bro.
>I really wish i didn't waste all that time being afraid...i wish i could've made a change in my life, be better...well i guess it's too late now.....
>boomers could fuck around and waste time and still make $$$
how exactly? jobs still existed back then, you know. just like they do now.
And cost of living has risen significantly while buying power has tanked. When you're older and you have a job of your own, you'll understand.
>Here's one for you, dying boomer
youtube.com
go look up wages related to inflation
you could buy a house for something like $80k in today's dollars or something that would go for $500k now. you could get paid the equivalent of like $25 today for some shit entry level job.
living past 65 sounds grim, i'd do a Hunter S Thompson if i reach that age
It's not as bad as it used to be.
Medical science has made a lot of advances and if you live a somewhat healthy lifestyle (i.e. not the typical boomer American lifestyle of gorging yourself with fast food and beer sitting in front of the TV), you can have fun with it if you have a good retirement fund.
>ah yes, all my accomplishments and life experiences that will mean squat when my heart stops and I become a rotting corpse for worms and maggots to feed on. I really was a cool guy.
holy based
If you were particularly famous you might be revived someday once science gets there.
That's what life is all about
for me it's around 40, i can't see myself as an old fuck, i'll blow my brains out before that
I've mostly retired man....my teens/early 20s were spent listening to ridiculous amounts of music in the name of discovery, these days it's just listening to music I enjoy....basically music retirement, it's great. 9 times out of 10 I can identify if I will like a band just by looking at the album art, I don't know why people fight this.
lol, teenagers
>What was I here for? I made no impact on other people's lives, I only did what I was socially or legally required to and never went beyond. None of the things I spent my time on were ever really worth it or brought my any satisfaction, I was just passing time waiting to die and failed to realize it. I never made the effort to connect with others or even show the people who did care about me that I cared about them back, now they're all gone and I never realized what they meant to me before it was too late. I may as well have not been born. Why didn't I just try a little harder?
>*shits bed again*
how the fuck are they going to revive a decomposed corpse, retard
boomer
are you proud of your lack of life experience?
They'll get your consciousness into another body duh
>I... I wish I told her how I felt all those years ago. I don't even remember her name anymore
What's her name, Yea Forums? Let it out.
your consciousness is gone once you die
even if you believe in some sort of afterlife, it is not in your body anymore once you die
there may be some sort of biological immortality or uploading consciousnesses to computers or some shit eventually, but that could only happen to people that are alive to see it
the closest you'll get to a revived john lennon, jimi hendrix, kurt cobain, tupac, whatever is some sort of sick robot or some shit made to get people's money
i think they're already doing that with holograms actually
once that becomes more and more widespread, they might replace all musical artists with these
Zoe...
Billy Corgan
I did tell her and she said she didn't feel the same. o well
song for this feel?
>post WWII economic windfall where you can buy a house working at burger king.
bit of hyperbole there. Even then those jobs were for teens, and under achievers
>tfw never felt like that about anyone ever
Lili...
I think about this all the time
I can say, for all my fuckups, if I ever had feelings for someone I said it. Doesn't always go well but I don't regret any instance.
My grandpa made equivalent of $22 today for his first job out of HS in the early 60s. He was lifting boxes or something. That'd pay like $10 now.
nah
>your consciousness is gone once you die
nah, like $14-17/hr
>how I'll feel for a few weeks/months in hospital is more important than how I feel for the rest of my life prior to then
nice philosophy lmao
damn man, they had it real nice
I'm a heroin addict, have been for 20 years, no one has had an argument for why I should stop that wasn't retarded. My life is functioning just fine because I'm not stupid. I feel 10/10 fantastic all the time. But everyone is begging and screaming that I need stop. . Idgi
Why do people give a fuck about making an impact on people's lives? Take care of yourself and your family and fuck off. You obnoxious fuck.
You die
And words won't do anything
It's permanently night
And I won't feel anything
We'll all be laughing with you when you die
>tfw your brain is so fucked you actually convince yourself you're fine despite being miserable
hi renton
