first one will be a 45 minute album with lots of shorter songs and sound like a mix of opiate/undertow/aenima. lots of people around the world who dont like tool very much will actually love the album

and after that will be their final release ever, and it will be the ultimate in tool fans service. it will be a deluxe double album with a blueray. the blueray will have all of their music videos, lots of new ones, live footage and behind the scenes bloopers. disc one will be a compilation of live music and have great sound quality, it will have the extended and evolved versions of all their songs that they've messed around with over the years like prison sex, stinkfist, the songs from lteralus that they would jam on with people from the opening bands (like when tool toured with melt banana, and MB would come out and the bands would do improv jams together to end the show). it will be the ultimate live tool album
disc 2 will be full of b-sides/silly new songs and lots of danny's solo out-there trippy ambient noise drumfreakouts ala merkaba/cct. disc two will be hailed as a avant garde/experimental RIO classic. the release will come with a 100 page full color booklet, augmented reality content, videoscreens and possibly a self contained virtual reality headset and controller that you use to play a tool themed bullet curtain game.
