BITCH IS YOU SMOKIN REEFER?

Best Kanye album. Thank you Portishead for inspiring him to make something worthwhile and try to utilize orchestral elements into his music.

Who should be the arbiters of good music, pal? Gender study slobs? Ghetto fab nogs? Crustpunk fags? No. It has always been, is and will always be the whites (and us, the Jews). Just take our word on it, otherwise you'd be listening to bongos and dancing around a fire lol.

Holy mother of cope.

WAKE UP MR WEST!

The last good Kanye album

At what age did you grow out of Kanye's music?

you grow out of kanye west at 12 at the latest and you grow into ye whenever your brain develops enough for you to attain a 250 IQ.

>t. double digit IQ

fuck me is this the power of the summer? for the past few weeks Yea Forums has turned into people posting shitty reaction images and greentexting whatever the other guy wrote as if it was a legit arguement.
If its not that its seething, cope, dilate, go back and whatever other buzzwords. I don't think I've seen a good discussion about anything on any board for atleast a month.
The question is did Yea Forums finally go to shit or did I just grow out of it and it was always shit?

oh and since im criticizing people of lack of discussion:
this is a top 3 album OAT for me.
lyrically it might be kanye's best (not as spirtiual miracle as mbdtf or witty as cd, but overall best)
the atmoshpere it creates is extremely comfy
the samples and the orchestral backing are impeccably done.
It might be ye at his least experimental, but at his most focused.
top 5: gone, hey mama, roses, heard em say, we major, but basically every song is a classic.
if flows extremely well and aside from aquemini and i dont believe any hip hop album has been on the same frequency with the mixture of lush production and hip hop basics and lyrical themes.
10/10

based, blessed, and discussionpilled

I'd pitch in if you didn't already say what was on my mind.

Good post. LR is my 2nd favorite album of all time behind TCD. The album has so many underrated songs like Heard ‘Em Say, Addiction, Gone, and Late. Kanye’s last verse on Gone is probably top 5 verses of all time.

Most beautiful song ever made imo

I agree with everything u said except for the lack of late in the top 5. I have a hard time kicking out one of those 5 though. College Dropout is great but I don't understand when people place it above LR. LR has just as much soul but Kanye is more confident in his delivery, the guest verses are better, and the production is grander

Musically it doesnt even cold a candle to late registration. Thematically it doesnt either. It has nothing to do with his political stance or what he says which I have no problem with. It sounds basic for the most part because he rushed it which he freely admits. You are an idiot

His best work

shut the fuck up ye is the best kanye album

>t. mentally ill

Gone is still my favourite Kanye song.

>in college
>idolize Kanye, think he's a musical genius
>a few years pass
>now get the impression that Kanye's a complete and utter fraud, even back to his first album

Anyone else experience this?

Hey Mama hits close to home for me. So gotta agree

Kanye is the most authentic rapper there is

>Anyone else experience this?

Nope.

brainlet

I used to think it was pretty inconsistent but it's grown on me every time I listen to it

late registration is my least favorite of kanye's first three but its still amazing. College Dropout is my favorite with almost every song being something I listen to often. I also agree with the sentiment of hey mama hitting close to home.
