I mean it's not terrible but yeah not the best. The Way You Used to Do still fucking slaps so hard though.

I think it's a great follow up to LC. where that one was about dying and fading away this tells a tale of ressurection and life in the most rock'n roll way possible. maybe it's not as good but on repeated listens no track feels like filler so that puts it above Ev and LtP as an album. very innovative sharp production and amazing guitarwork. head like a haunted house and the evil has landed is revolutionary. unreborn and hideaway were my least favorite at first but now i enjoy them the most. no one can deny the exalance of the violins in unreborn. catchy, energetic, cool all the way thru. maybe the ending isn't that good but only rated r, lc and s/t have good endings.

They had to follow up a 10/10 album

They made a terrible buttrock album. That's their usual M.O., isn't it?

They were never good. Seriously, if you like this shitty band you have very low standards.

Mark Ronson ruins a band/10

What a shitty take

Bowie’s death inspired Josh to make a poppier sounding album. Mark Ronson isn’t the worst producer on the planet like everybody makes him out to be, but I think that he overdid it, and Josh should’ve stepped in at a point and tried to keep some of the edge that QOTSA fans look for in their music. It’s too clean to feel like one of their albums. That said, lyrically Josh did a great fucking job, and I imagine that these songs sound fantastic live. Here’s hoping the next album sounds a little more ballsy on the studio version though.

This band always sucked, nothing new under the sun

they made a decent album
what do you mean what happened

sftb has an amazing ending

I actually did see them live last year, and they were fantastic. They only played a few songs off villains, but even so you're right in saying it sounded great live.

He got old

>people in this thread saying it doesn't sound like QOTSA
>people in this thread claiming there is such a thing as a "QOTSA sound"
The state of plebs

It’s a good album what do you mean

which song is your favorite off the album? mine is easily domesticated animals

They already did that twice before.

Villains of circumstance.

Josh was literally influenced by the Arctic Monkeys AM album.

it's josh's heroes album except not as good....
