their worst by far. bring back ameer

Listening to it rn. Idk man pretty good like it isnt better than saturation but pretty good. Still talking about their depression though. Best songs are probably no halo boy bye and sugar. Pretty good album overall

better than their last one, not as good as any of the saturations.

I like it a lot, it's an easy listen. The song Ginger is fantastic.

hands down the best song, if you disagree you have shit tastes

The only good song is Victor Roberts.

The album is a solid 9/10. You're all geeking hardcore talking that trash. Literally their career up to this point has almost been like a very well executed joke and now they are showing their emotional and vulnerable side and that makes all the egotistical insecure internet nerds who hate having to view the world from anything other than an ironic distance anxious because now they have to confront a serious work of art and that makes them scared.

Grow some balls and don't be afraid to express emotions instead of acting like robotic zombies who are just so above everyone else. Pure narcissism coupled with an insecure fetishization of ever having to feel anything. The second you open yourself up you become a target for people who act like they have everything put together and the world figured out and don't ever feel anything.

Deadass, just gonna say it, this is a 10/10. People are underselling this album so much.

5/10. Self indulgent and boring, their worst behind Iridescence which is a 6/10 on a good day.

I just heard lyrics about sex and "niggas"

Doesn't seem very emotional and vulnerable other than that emo-voice that raps sometimes

???

you'll grow up one day user

Frank Ocean - Blond does sad nigger core much better

I have no problem with their new direction, I just don't think it's as good as the Saturation trilogy.
I still thought it was a good album and I enjoyed parts of it thoroughly on first listen (especially Boy Bye, which is one of their best songs), probably a 7-7.5/10. That number might actually go up on repeated listens. I will say though, still not a fan of Bearface - at all.

>people still listen to gay odd future
lol

First three songs are good and then it gets pretty boring.

listened through the leak and have only wanted to relisten to one song, Boy bye all the others sounds bland and interchangeable

and god damn I get that like bearface is their buttbuddy or whatever but he adds nothing that any two bit industry singer couldn't do

You’re misunderstanding. The album is just vapid.

fuckin solid album, good to see the boys trying new shit and not just making saturation 4 like their retard fanbase wants

dont know why everyone wants ameer back so bad either, he showed no versatility in the saturation trilogy and was probably the most expendable member of the group. he had good energy and thats basically it

bearface wouldn't have to rap if he was still on the group.

dfgjdfgjdfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

BEARFACE verse on Boy Bye is a shitty, slower rendition of x's Look At me. also uses the whiny emo delivery that x uses in a lot of slower songs, even mixed similar. CANCEL baerface

great album 8 or 9/10. def their most cohesive project, while the saturation trilogy was mainly just a collection of songs (except for maybe the first one), this is definitely an album with an idea and songs that all join it together. love it

Best one with SAT III

Kinda stopped caring when Ameer got booted. Never looked into the situation, so maybe they were right to let him go, but he was my favorite in the trilogy.

album feels like they wanna make pop except it's like they're grieving or something
literally the best thing theyve ever made

Test

Apparently he set up one of Dom's friends to be robbed and only fessed up after they kicked him out, that's what Dom's verse on Dearly Departed is about.

The absolute state of Yea Forums...

It is emotional and shows that the members have grew a lot, but sonically it isn't interesting. Just because music conveys emotions doesn't make it any good when listening to the record is boring. Some of the songs are straight garbage, some are pretty good (I enjoyed NO HALO, because it felt nostalgic to me) but overall it's like 5-6/10 imo. It's not HORRIBLE, it's not bad music, it's just not interesting enough for me to re-listen it. And I'm not one of those "BROCKHAMPTUN HAS TO DO BANGUUURZ MATE" retards, I do not mind more moody and sad music. Just do it better.
