you're absolutely right
my ranking would be like
S/T > Era Vulgaris > Songs for the Deaf > Rated R = ...Like Clockwork >>>> Lullabies to Paralyze > Villains

Sorry but you're wrong.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm im not feeling it

that one isn't very good as a whole album imo
there's some great songs off here like 'Burn the Witch' but it has too much filler
i prefer Era Vulgaris because, while it also has the filler problem, it has a lot of really weird and unique sounding tracks

arguments for:
>easily the best ending song and isn't trying to hide a dull second act like LtP or EV
>has great songs like if only (i thought he said if only, koool aid! and it stil sent down shivers)
>almost all riffs are memorable

arguments against:
>some choruses feel like theyre only there for pacing
>not all the solos are great
>not all the songs are great
>not as classic as SftD or LC but doesn't have that wierd charisma that EV and Rated R has

I play Avon in our band cuz we're from dere :) and it's really easy and our rhythm guitarist is poo

poo

pusy

I think Someone's In the Wolf might be my favorite track from them though. I haven't heard every QOTSA album yet but isn't filler+great tracks kind of a given with them?

>no Oliveri
Okay buddy, try again

no. LC and Rated R are perfect albums. SftD is very perfect too. Villians is more consistently great also compared to era and lullibies.

It's such a hard choice, their all solid. Personally it'd be between their self titled, SFTD, LTP, EV, OR LC. I like all of them. They're a great band.

Walkin on the sidewalks is my favorite Q. O. T. S. A song. I love the guitars during the last 2 minutes of the song. And it's a fucking banger live.

It's my second-favorite, but I can definitely understand putting it in first.

No such thing as a good QOTSA album, Homme peaked with Kyuss

someone's in the wolf is a great track from that album
it's probably my favorite tied with burn the witch

how does this not have weird charisma
this is probably their weirdest album

rude!

k

not as wierd as "sick sick sick, dont get sick" and "my generations for sale, beats a steady job". wierd scales and chords and tones also.

i think era vulgaris is their second weirdest album personally. that's why it's my second favorite, behind the self-titled. :)

It's the best because it's the heaviest and most Kyuss-like QotSA album

im happy our opinions differ and create diversity.

This album has many qualities of kyuss though

>villains > era
this is the worst take ive heard in a fat minute

Deaf is better
but it’s close

One of the most underrated songs in their entire discography

Honestly, if our opinions were always the same, there would be no war of ideology. Diversity is fun, but it is also the root cause of a lot of serious problems

this put a smile on my face thanks for this thread op

np :)

s/t > r > era > lullabies > sftd > clockwork > villains
