Sharing these tunes on behalf of Electric Honey Records, an independent record label I'm working on with a few of my best friends and their bands! We just hosted our first annual HoneyFest, a music festival originally conceived as a label drop event, which eventually spread to become much more. We gained sponsors in support of bee conservation, as well as with local breweries which in turn allowed us to brew our own craft beer for the festival! Anyway, all this aside, EHR is a young label whose incredibly eager to share their music with the world! Please give these wonderful artists a listen! And if you're familiar with the record label industry, throw me some tips and tricks to make the magic happen!

LANDOS

landos.bandcamp.com/album/before-time-ep

Based out of Calgary, Alberta
Landos rips a pungent combination of velvety indie rock and blues jams with a dash of folk. This smooth blend of lads is composed of hints of dad bod and undertones of gym rat. Enjoy responsibly.

>Alternative, indie, rock, pop

THE MOONSNAKES

themoonsnakes.bandcamp.com/album/been-down

Incepted in the liquor fueled pandemonium that is new years eve, a trio was formed in the year two thousand and nineteen. The Moonsnakes, hailing from Calgary, AB emanate the musical versatility and suede of the Bahamas while imparting the raw rock and gain of The Hip, all the while finishing you off gently with the wavy underlay of Mac Demarco.

>Blues, rock, alternative, indie

Heck yeah! This is lovely. Production is fantastic, compositions are incredibly diverse and creative. Definitely has some avant garde Yoko Ono vibes. Well done, I'm only a couple songs in but I will continue!

very nice, I will suggest this to be played as kindergarten music to get the kids prepared for elementary school

This is utterly flattering, thank you so much, hopefully you will loke the whole thing :)

Thanks!!!

RECS:
you sprinkle in some great uniqueness in each of the tracks. nice! was a pretty entertaining listen.
Such a strange album that would be great in a soundtrack I feel. Such a haunting feel to it for some reason but the visuals of the album really encapsulates the sound excellently. One of the most unique things I've heard on here!

Attached: semi final-min.png (2000x2000, 3.55M)

I'm the one who posted the strange album, thank you so much! You really figured out the ambivalent feelings that are definitely there, it is meant to be happy, but having something not-quite-right about it lol

Definitely checking out your stuff, too, I dig it!

sharing music i paid for with strangers for free lmfao i’ll get right on that

Damn, this is great. I love the unique style you got going on here. Not too many artists this day are attempting childrens music with artistic merit.
Very interesting texture wise. Those blaring 808s are a little questionable to me though and felt out of place.
This stuff is very inventive when it comes to digital percussion. You really know how to make these tracks hit hard.
My ears are enjoying how wonky and off kilter some of these tracks are. There could be more to it but I think you are on track to carve out a style all your own.

I love your production quality, as well as the clear amount of effort that went into this. Highly recommended.

Plunderphonics as a concept is neat and I think you pull it off well. Also, wonderful art.

Thanks!

cool album I like the sound so far, especially the beginning of that drench track

I think some parts of it could be a little disturbing for the kids lol
But thanks a lot! :)

kids will be exposed to disturbing stuff at some point anyway, better do it in a controlled environment with educative purposes

Completely agree! Go ahead then and play it to children lol
