i did like the design of the track a lot like i said. i think it would suit you well to invoke some african type drum patterns on your next track. that one was slow and heavy. so the soundscape is unfamiliar yes, but the drums are simple and basically, rockish. non-western rhythmic patterns might make it even more alien. (possibly too much, im not sure. maybe the simple drumming is the only thing retaining human quality and it will be too alienating if removed.)
great slapp happy vibes on this vocalist. she has very distinct voice which really elevates the songs. what electric organs are you using around 4:00? they sound nice and full.
dont like the sample. never been a fan of those kinds of treated voices. the rhythm is good and is definitely jukey. and i think the length suits the track. it would be well of you to mutate the rhythms if you want to extend your pieces.

thanks for the feedback, I am familiar with more 'unusual' drum patterns, it just comes down to what I feel like sounds better and what I'm trying to achieve with a track, sometimes it can be overwhelming and it takes away the attention from other elements of the track but I can see what you're trying to say.

This wasn't really interesting, but the only big issue I could find with it is with whatever volume drop or effect that kept happening throughout the song (started at 0:17); it felt really unnecessary. Overall it's not awful, but the instrumental is still bland.
