Heroes is the worst song on its respective album, and Bowie's most overrated song in general. Heroes is the only song that prevents Heroes the album from being a 10/10.

It's literally not lmao. Heroes is an overly simplistic, boring song. Every other vocal track on Heroes has a combination of clever lyricism and great backing. Heroes the song is just the same boring verses over and over again ending with Bowie screaming. The fucking German version is more enjoyable. Beauty and the Beast, Joe the Lion, Sons of the Silent Age, and Secret Life of Arabia are all Bowie at the top of his game. Heroes is him pulling a joker card from the Oblique Strategies deck.
