Anyone else think this album just has an incredible emotional vibe and atmosphere? I'm not quite sure how I'd describe it, but it seems to conjure emotions in a way I haven't heard from another album.

It's got those unmistakable early 00's proto-hipster vibe.

They had a really effective sound on that album and i'm sad that nobody was ever able to capture anything close to it again (not even Interpol themselves)

Coolest indie rock album for sure

Only album that makes me wish I lived in NYC and smoked

to me its like a sound of being in a city, walking alone, and you kind of feel like you're on the edges of everything that everyone else is a part of. sort of this glacial, beautiful, isolating sound.

I keep forgetting that Interpol are from New York, there's something cold and measured about TOTBL that's always made me think of them as swedish

0:38-0:45 are the best seven seconds in music ever.

what is that little percussion technique called

I liked El Pintor, their last album is fucking shit

it's just a drum fill

Anyone else didn't like it at first? But then loved it on a later listen

>you will never be in your twenties in early 00's NYC
why live?

THE SUBWAY SHE IS A PORNO

It initially felt like it all blended together but ya it eventually clicked

>SANDNIGGERS DID 9/11 THEY DON'T DESERVE RIGHTS
>IT'S UP TO ME NOW, TURN ON THE BRIGHT LIGHTS

how did paul banks get away with this?

Why did they rip off Amnesiac's cover?

i only listen to untitled, everything else doesnt have quite capture that same emotion

I'm not gay but paul is pretty hot

lame Grey's Anatomy music. 00s revival music is the textbook definition of soulless.

>WHENEVER I SEE A MUSLIM IT MAKES ME FROWN
>THIS ONE'S CALLED STELLA WAS A DIVER AND SHE WAS ALWAYS DOWN
what did they mean by this

stop sucking this album's dick guys I listen to it every day as well but we gotta move on to other stuff
I feel like this guy who used to repeat the same stories from highschool over and over, they were nice but kinda stopped being funny after a while

For me it'll always be Antics.
Public Pervert no 1

For me, it's Take You on a Cruise

Interpol is just Joy Division for basedboys and pseuds

I’m actually really digging this remix

This really highlights how shit Paul's vocals have become, Jesus Christ

Antics is a criminally underrated album

hitting the bell tip of a cymbal i believe
