I'm on my 4th repeat right now, just sad that there's nothing that REALLY stands out of the lot besides the Descending solo part. It's extremely solid all around, it's way better than anything a band could ever do after a 13 years hiatus but I feel they took too much of the safe way.

Overall, it is not memorable like Lateralus or 10,000 days. It will be remembered as the album that confirmed that TOOL is dead and buried.

Invincible, Descending and 7empest are fucking great. I was never the biggest Maynard fan, but he seems so unenthusiastic on this album, it's really affecting the overall mood of the album. He's pretty great on 7empest and Deacending, wish he brought that energy to the rest of the album.

My fav is Descending. So much better than live versions.
