When will the world finally admit Avenged Sevenfold are a great band?

When will the world finally admit Avenged Sevenfold are a great band?
>made some of the best hard rock/metal albums of the past two decades
>even their "bad"albums have some interesting songs
>varied discography, never sold out or started making the same album over and over again when they made it big
>they're all talented musicians, especially the lead guitarist
>are keeping the spirit of rock alive among the new generations

Lad they sold out with Waking the Fallen.

Lol Synyster Gates is overrated af

The world already does, they won. They have a huge following and are likely one of the bast bands to make it to that level of their generation.

In any case, yeah they're good.
Let it go dawg it's over, NOBODY LISTENS TO METALCORE.

>lmao necrophilia so edgy
They are dumb.

The Stage was a good album.

stopped listening after The Rev died

He sings like he's being bummed.

>>made some of the best hard rock/metal albums of the past two decades
their debut album is *okay* at best. it has fun bits
>>even their "bad"albums have some interesting songs
wrong, most of their modern material is bland cookie cutte shite
>>varied discography
I agree in that it only got more and more boring and copy+paste with each album
>>they're all talented musicians, especially the lead guitarist
they're all overrated, their most musically capable musician came from Dream Theater after their overrated as fuck drum hack ate shit and died
>>are keeping the spirit of rock alive among the new generations
if they are, then those generations are fucked from day 1

Better than your fave band

Is there a more useless band member in history than avenged sevenfold’s bass player?

Probably like 60 percent of metal and rock bass players in general.

nice digits

They’re decent.

>Nobody listens to metalcore
Except for at least half of the people on earth who say they listen to metal.

I used to worship these dons when I was 14/15 nowadays still respect them as a band but I've moved on to other things. They put on a great live show tho I saw em twice once at the o2 and the other at Download.

>no
>no
>i guess
>sure
>no

Congrats on the trailer park finally getting internet, Cody.

Then why are most metalcore bands still opening or middle acts? Concert billing comes down to one thing, how many records and tickets a band sells.

kek

wtf their latest album has a 3.22 on RYM ? I haven't listened to these guys since middle school (apart from Blinded in Chains that song rules) but maybe I should give them a chance again ?

I never really disliked them or anything, just moved on to other, more interesting things. Just like most people have.

Facts and checked.

Trips of truth

Edgy is a word that's lost its meaning, by the definition of what it is literally anything is edgy. Extreme metal glamorises necrophilia and much more. It's the new word for >thing I don't like

Edgy used to be a compliment. It meant you were cutting edge and pushing the boundaries. People now confuse "edgy" with "edgelord"

this. also happened to be around the time i stopped listening to trashy metalcore, but the rev was the most interesting part of the band.
