I will never stop shilling this album. never.
>freak folk, no wave
>if you like god is my co-pilot but wish they were good
>if you like swans but wish they could take a fucking joke and could write a song that's only like a minute and a half

I sorta fuck with Mac. Cover looks cool so I will give it a listen rn
No idea what is this but zebras are fucking based. Listening to this afterwards.
I actually heard of this one (guessing by a previous shill of yours) really not my style but I'm in a hotel's bathroom and bored so I will add this to my backlog right now

Will update in.... 2 hours? Just throwing an estimation

Heard a lot of good things about 12 as well, I'll check them out.

Wtf is this album called and who is it by

Blind Melon's second album is really overlooked, they only seem to be known for No Rain.

I'm back.

Zebra album- need to listen a couple more times but pretty damn amazing t b h. Really liked a lot of the songs but somw didn't quite click.

Demarco esque- solid indie pop. Actually might be better than everything Mac made.

Shillfest- this album was a little too short for me, couldn't really get into the vibe of each song and then it ends. Didn't form any opinion yet because as I said it's not my genre, but I wasn't bored throughout so I guess it isn't bad.

My Sloan Bro
Mouthful of Cavities is one of the best songs of the 90s

every reddit hipster ever listens to this album

Good thread. I think Downward is Heavenwards might be better though.

Holy based, listened to my copy of this last night.

I'm mostly familiar with the The Egg (because it was the last one before Life and Times and I've a frequent listener of that band), how would you say Lulu Divinia differs from The Egg?

>The Dirt of Luck
one of the very best albums ever and Mary Timony is a woefully underrated guitarist

If you like weird, organic sounding electronic music like Tomas Dvorak/Floex, you'll like KILN

>Mary Timony is a woefully underrated guitarist
Yeah, probably because she doesn't show off all the time. I was told last night in a thread about female musicians that she was mediocre because some guy probably didn't know who she was or just listened to her simpler music.

Never listened to their second album, but I listened to their self titled and hated most of it. No Rain is the only song worth a damn off that album. If the second one is better, I’d be willing to check it out. But is it worth it for a non-fan who only likes one song?

Honestly if you hated most the first album probably not. But i dunno, if you like these songs maybe give it a try:

Einstürtzende Neubauten - Zeichnungen des Patienten O.T. was one of the best albums I've ever heard. Such an intelligent use of harmony

awkward emo chamber pop that ventures into trap territory on some songs
