>don't worry caillou, heroin will tottaly cure your cancer >post-industrial noise-trap with killer pseudo-guitar feedback & psychedelic sampling >got a chopped-n-screwed portion that'll make your pussy moist
I've been steadily releasing music on my sound cloud for 7ish months now. I've only been producing for 1 year so any feedback on my style, mixing and sound design would be appreciated.
>vaguely jazzy psychedelic soul made by some indie kid >lyrics about the end of the world or some stuff >full house sounding guitar solo
it's close to a final mix, but if you guys have any mixing advice based on the song, i'd appreciate it
i've listened to all your guys stuff in the other threads, and i definitely vibe with the second two, but i appreciate the erraticness and intensity of the heroin-core music
didn't see this in the other threads, but i like your voice, it conveys a lot of emotion
I love the lyrics. It reminds me a bit of a mellowed, early Hush Sound. I liked and followed :)
I really like the keys on lunar reeling. I'm saving it to sample it because I really like the tune. Kind of reminds me of steely dan at some points for some reason. Liked/followed.
very moody, I liked home the most.
Made me feel like I was going crazy. Enjoyed it thoroughly. 10/10 would disassociate to again.

a note on the album "depressive suicidal black coffee" - it was published by mistake (hence the embarrassing working title) so i decided to leave it up for free for now. it'll be removed on November 12 - which is also the release date for my next album.
Really cool sounds, but could use a bit more variation. It gets stale quickly, mostly in the beginning. Cycle in some more sounds earlier on.
Please record your stuff into a DAW. It would be great, if there was any low end to these recordings.
Lacks something that ties it all together. Sounds a bit like a lead synth played on top of some pads, but has very little rythmic content. Also, play around with the knobs on your synths, watch some videos on YT to learn what they do. Try and break out of just playing the same presets. As I listened to a few of your songs, I was getting the feeling that everything is played with the same sounds. It wasn't obvious at first, but with each song it got more prominent.
Great stuff. Maybe a very faint bit of reverb on top of the master bus could smooth out the rough and sharp sound.
