Its not a punk album and it's not meant to be. Its just them throwing a ton of genres together and making catchy tunes, they were punk on their debut, this is more new wave with "working class" aesthetic (yes I know Strummer was wealthy).
Anyway no matter what you feel about this album Death or Glory is a good song.
