A solid piece of concept and sonic scapes. It's a pretty trendy album, it's definitely different

Double Bass is the best track

soundtrack to fifth grade for me

I still love it to this day. It's leagues better than anything else Damon has ever done

>mfw listening to the album when I was 10 and thinking the bong sounds were somebody blowing bubbles in a drink through a straw

>cant stand ya loneliness
>ba ba

my first cd so instantly in top 5 albums of all time

yeah its cool. I think Demon Days is better but this ones probably my favourite.

It might as well be. I can't think of anything more immature than smoking weed and then thinking that you're so cool for it that you randomly put it in your art piece. It's not even fucking original either; a million albums do it.

STARRRR SHINEEEE

Freddie Gibbs snorting cocaine before starting verses>>>>

>not New Genious or Soundcheck
cringe and doublebasspilled

based
I still prefer Clint Eastwood but Double bass is underrated

Their best album for sure its fucking great

>not liking the 19-2000 remix
>not liking Left Hand Suzuki Method
I'll give it to you Dracula's pretty shit but for the two above you are forever my enemy

Gravity is my fav

it's not fucking good, only nostalgic

(not true by the way)

Wrong

Nostalgiacore but mostly overrated

The first album I ever bought on CD

The older I get, the less I care for Albarn's work.

First CD I ever bought in a shop. My tastes have shifted but it still holds a place of honor on my shelves.

/thread

QUE PASTA CONTEGOOOOOOO

it was the first cd I ever bought with my money when I was a baby

also, it's the only album that I do imagine the cartoons playing. The others I don't see the cartoons at all. Also, the Laika remixes are top notch. Underrated like a lot of remix projects.

No idea why Demon Days is more popular honestly

I think the features and the concepts are stronger in Demon Days than Gorillaz

some filler but it's a great debut for sure

the G-sides are well worth checking out, Faust being the standout

what do Gorillaz fans think of Blur?

13 is brilliant and I also am pretty fond of Magic Whip (even though Blur fans don't like that one)

Good intro to dub. Probably their second best behind Plastic Beach.

Think Tank is unironically their best. dont > me

Bullshit. Of course I remembered Clint Eastwood and the likes from when I was a kid, but it took me a while to become patrician and I ended up discovering Gorillaz in my 20s.
You guys just want to distance yourselves from the fanbase.

Best Gorillaz album

Think Tank and 13 are their best.
Everything before S/T is trash.
