Music promotion

Any ideas on how to promote my music and spread it?

The main trick is that you have to be good.

Shill it constantly in soundclown threads but pretend you are an user who stumbled across it

Can you get ahold of some good kneepads?

Music has no value. The product is you. Music is like a free pen or calculator the bank gives you when you open an account. You have music. Great thats the last step. What can you do to get attention? You obviously don't have it in you if you are here. Youre a music fan and consumer. Thats all. You spend money to larp as a musician like 99% of musicians. Go watch some youtube videos on products to buy to make your "music" that no one will listen to.

Be good at music and have a unique way of presenting yourself

Here's your (You)

should I pirate the fruit

And here is yours. Im right seethe more. Its always been this way. (((Stars))) are made.

Get an agent who can get your shit licensed to decent distribution channels.

LOL a fairy god mother. No one is going to pay attention to you or discover you. God you kids are hopeless. These dreams are perpetuated to sell you gear. Keep buying DAWs micro phones interfaces and other toys.

Anyone else felt like shit when they put so much work and effort into their music and released it, and then realising that literally nobody will listen to it?

That's why you pirate DAWs and VSTs to go against the capitalist scumbag conspiracy theory, motherfucker.

It's either find an agent with the right connections or don't bother. You aren't going to get broad exposure without a very savvy team behind you.

pick a music promoting agency or service that fits your genre
throw money at them
follow their instructions

Cool attitude motherfucker but youre 40 years too late. Maybe chop off your dick or something if you want to stand out. Youre not interesting. Hate to break it to you. You aren't marketable. You will not move units. Youre a delusional consumer.
(((agents))) find you. Never forget catch me outside chick. Thats the entertainment biz. Kurt Cobain did the regular guy thing 30 years ago. You need to be an absolute freak to stand out. Maybe if youre a 12 year old drag queen you can cut a record. Sorry to burst your faggy bubbles.

Again someone making money off of YOU. Youre just consumers. Youre not marketable. Go throw your money away into a dream. The majority of the industry is making money off selling dreams.

Listen motherfucker. Consume my dick and balls before I break your fucking legs and expand your asshole turning it into a vacuum. You CIA fucking nigger. Who do you think you fucking are you nigger pig?! Fucking jew cunt fuck.

I'm literally saying basically the same thing but you're determined to be assblasted so you do you. Look at the Owl City guy for example. He was selling a coupe thousand a month worth of tunes from MySpace marketing. He gets a deal, they re-record material he's already written and released, and bam he's got a multi-platinum 'debut' album. The guy's a literal autist. It can happen if you suck enough dick on the right people. If you want to try to have a career that's what you have to do. You might succeed at getting the attention of the right agent or you might not, and that will determine your level of success - not your music.

Owl City was 12 years ago. Early 2000s was the last record deals friend and the whole garage it can happen to you scene. They have to make a few legends to keep the dream alive to keep people buying gear. I dont think you realize that the industry has always been about selling tech. Records were produced to sell record players. Beatles were sponsored by hofner gretsch ludwig and rekenbacker. I just know more that most of you. You don't have to be hostile about it. Fuck guys grow up. Sad thing is that boomers are eternat teenagers still buying these big brand products. Zoomers buy midi controllers and shit. These products dont sell themselves. Musicians are sponsored and largely salespeople of gear. You need to just think about it for a second to see its true. Its all about selling tech. Music players are worthless now so the market is about production gear. They prop up literal no talents like mumble rappers so it seems possible for you to make it as well. If they pushed technical music people would be discouraged. How many people heard Nirvana songs in the 90s and thought fuck I can do that! Wake up lads. At least focus on some puss. Write songs for chicks you know stop thinking big league. Use the situation to your advantage with a clear point of view.
